A sacrificial layer, not a coating.

Most paint damage isn't a single event — it's accumulation. Stone chips on the motorway, swirl marks from the wrong wash mitt, bug acid baked on in a car park. PPF intercepts all of it before it reaches the clear coat.

We fit thermoplastic urethane film, not vinyl wrap. It flexes with the panel, self-heals light scratches with warm water or sun, and is engineered to be removed cleanly — even after a decade — without lifting factory paint.

Every install is templated to your exact VIN and cut on a plotter, not hand-trimmed on the car. The edges are wrapped, not butted, so there's no lip for grit or wash chemicals to catch.

How a Fitting Runs

Decontaminate & correct

Panels are clayed, degreased and inspected under raking light. Any swirl marks are corrected before film goes anywhere near the car — film fitted over a flawed surface just preserves the flaw.

Plot & cut

Your exact model and trim is pulled from our pattern library and cut on a plotter to panel-precise dimensions. No knifeless tape, no hand-trimmed edges left exposed to lift.

Fit & wrap edges

Each panel is fitted wet, squeegeed dry and heat-set into edges and contours so there's no lip. This is the stage that separates a film job from a film that peels in two years.

Cure & hand back

72 hours to fully bond before the car sees rain or a wash. You leave with care instructions and your warranty registered the same day.

Questions

Before you book

Will the film be visible on the car?+
No. The film is optically clear and self-leveling, so it sits flush against the paint with no visible edge once cured. Most owners forget it's there until a stone bounces off the bonnet and leaves nothing behind.
Does it need to be removed and replaced?+
Not within the warranty period. The film is designed to be removed cleanly at the end of its life without lifting clear coat — useful if you're selling the car and want the paint underneath to look untouched.
Can I wash the car normally after fitting?+
Hand washing is fine after 72 hours of cure time. We'd avoid automatic car washes with hard brushes for the first two weeks while the adhesive fully sets, after which the film handles normal washing without issue.
What happens if a stone chip does get through?+
It essentially never reaches the paint — the urethane layer absorbs the impact. If a panel is ever damaged in an accident, we can replace film on that single panel without re-fitting the whole car.
How long does a Full Body fitting take?+
Typically two to three working days, depending on the model and panel count. We'll confirm an exact turnaround when we quote your reg.
